Chef Suman holds degrees & certifications as a Certified Executive Chef, Catering Technology, Applied Nutrition, Restaurant and Culinary Management, Gastronomy, Management, Food Safety, Culinary Design, and Health and Safety.  He is a Canadian Cuisine advocate globally, the award winning author of “From Pemmican To Poutine - A Journey Through Canada's Culinary History. He is the 2010 Gourmand World Cookbook Award winner (Paris, France) and a Cordon D'Or Culinary Academy Award (Florida, United States). He has been recognized by the Premier of Ontario and the Prime Minister of Canada for his literary contribution and was awarded Hero of Everyday Life and CEO's Marketplace Excellence Award by Sodexo, as well as the President's Award by The Escoffier  Society of Toronto. He was invited to be the first Chef member to sit in  Toronto Food Policy Council, in recognition of his knowledge and passion towards a Greener Culinary journey. In the same year, Chef became the  first Canadian Chef to be invited to visit Singapore by IE Singapore to explore the Singaporean Cuisine.  He has visited China as the ambassador of  Canadian Cuisine. He and his creations have been featured in various Television shows, News Articles and Culinary Magazines.

Kea Bawtinheimer, BA

Director, Communications, Events & Wine Specialties

Kea holds degrees in Sociology and Communication, as well as Management Degrees in Marketing, Public Relations and Event Management, as well as 3rd level WSET Certification. She is a graduate and member of the French Wine Scholar Society; and recently completed the Haut Etudes des Gout Masters program at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. Kea brings many years of leadership in the areas of marketing, communications and event management in both the business and the not-for-profit sector to the (name of company) team. Her breadth of experience ranges from speaker management to marketing and sponsorship acquisition, volunteer coordination, logistic and budgeting, food and beverage management, menu creation and wine pairings as well as event design and event management. She was the Speaker and Logistics Manager for a Vancouver based Production company that produces the TED Talk series, and organized key components of the  2009 Vancouver Peace Summit featuring his Holiness the Dalai Lama. Kea has since created her own Event Management Company where she designs and produces niche- marketing events for specifically targeted client groups. Her list of events goes on to include Grand Opening Celebrations, Investor Receptions, Ground Breaking Events, Community Fundraisers and Award Galas.
